Requirements:
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- At least 1 year of Class A CDL experience
- Must pass U.S of Transportation pre-hire drug screen
- Must pass a Criminal History Background Check and approval from Human Resources Department
- Must pass a U.S. Dept. of Transportation Comprehensive Drivers Physical.
- Must pass a Pre-Placement Functional Test.
- Must have a safe driving record:
- No record of a driver’s license suspension or revocation for more than 30 days during the 36-month period prior to the date of hire.
- No record of citation or conviction for the violations listed below in any motor vehicle, personal or commercial, during the 36-month period prior to hire.
- Driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Refusal to take a test required by an implied consent or similar law
- Violation of open container
- Reckless homicide or involuntary manslaughter
- Operating while under suspension or revocation
- Leaving the scene of a collision or hit-and-run
- Excessive speeding (15 mph over), speed exhibition, contest or drag race
- Use of a motor vehicle in the commission of a felony
- Assault with a motor vehicle
- Reckless driving or careless endangerment
- Operating a motor vehicle without permission of the owner
- Fleeing or eluding a police officer
- Following the vehicle ahead to closely.
- Hit and run, leaving the scene of an accident, or failure to report.
- No more than one seat belt, or improper use of.
- No more than four (4) moving violations in the past 36 months, and no more than two (2) moving violations in the previous 12 months.
An acceptable Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP) issued by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. - No preventable accidents involving a fatality, bodily injuries treated away from the scene, or disabling damage to a motor vehicle within three (3) years (FMCSA’s definition of a crash).
